The JustFOIA Solution Consultant is responsible for generating new subscription sales for our SaaS platform. The territory for this role includes specific Local Government and Education target accounts and carries a minimum sales quota of $375,000 in ARR. Offering a base salary and uncapped commission structure, JustFOIA is a sales-driven organization and the success of our Solution Consultants is the fuel that grows the company. Our dedicated team of sales professionals are responsible for providing clients with a powerful and easy-to-use SaaS solution that transforms their cumbersome processes into smart practices that improve efficiency and transparency while mitigating risk and building public trust. We are looking for driven, self-motivated individuals who are ready to prospect and secure new clients. This is a 100% remote position, which requires travel from time to time.

What you’ll do:

  • Prospect and run C-level and senior-level relationships as a trusted, insightful and strategic advisor
  • Develop a territory strategy and execution plan
  • Conduct a minimum of 10 sales meetings per week (remote or face to face) through new sales prospecting introductions, demonstrations to organizations, or conversations to advance deals through the pipeline
  • Ensure that all sales and related activities are entered into CRM in a compliant manner
  • Consistently deliver accurate forecasting within a variance of 10%
  • Effectively demonstrate the platform within 30 days of hire
  • Conduct weekly lead-sharing and client strategy calls with key inside and field partners
  • Are honest, respectful of others, and adhere to business standards and ethics

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with Government acquisition processes, sales cycle and policy
  • Ability to achieve sales goals with a drive to deliver results
  • Proficiency in account planning and territory management
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process, from prospecting to close
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
  • Strong relationships with SLED market, with experience selling technical solutions to SLED Government entities
  • Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate SaaS concepts to key contacts and navigate a software solution sale
  • Familiarity of the laws governing records management, understand varying state interpretations of the federal Freedom of Information Act, and ability to confidently converse with client SMEs on the topic of records requests
  • Excitement about staying abreast of relevant technology applications and trends
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with clients and colleagues to drive business and ensure client success
  • Strong proficiency in computer skills
